Morning Greatness: White House Says Schiff Has Wrong OMB Phone Number

Well this seems like a problem: Adam Schiff Has Wrong OMB Number

Yesterday I wrote about how Rep. Schiff’s HPSCI committee obtained the phone records of journalist John Solomon, Trump’s private lawyer Rudy Giuliani, HPSCI Minority Leader Rep. Devin Nunes and I’m guessing a bunch of Nunes staffers they have targeted for destruction. Sensible people were shocked since all these folks have some presumption of privacy but no one should be shocked to see the Left use the government leviathan to persecute their enemies. One narrative Schiff constructed from the phone records was that Rudy was chatting with the Office of Management and Budget where he was obviously colluding with them to hold up the aid to Ukraine. Real Clear Politics reports:

But the phone calls, a presidential spokesperson told RealClearPolitics, were not coming from inside the Office of Management and Budget: “No one from OMB has talked to Giuliani.”

The report details phone calls and texts dating from last spring and summer, including a nearly 13-minute call on April 24 from an “OMB Phone Number.” It is part of the evidence that Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff relied on to build his case for impeachment.

Senior administration officials say that Schiff has the wrong number and Giuliani also claims he never spoke to OMB.

Apparently Schiff and his staff believe the 395 prefix that showed up on the phone records subpoenaed by House Democrats from AT&T and Verizon belongs only to phones in the OMB offices, something that Republican sources say isn’t accurate.

“This is yet another attempt to use deceit and media manipulation to attempt to undo the results of the last election and interfere in the next one,” a senior White House aide said. “The number House Democrats are claiming is an OMB number is nothing more than a masking number that appears when White House staff dial out from the complex,” the White House aide added.

Nancy Pelosi gives the order: “Bring me articles of impeachment!”

I want the Democrats to go on the record and I confess, I want this impeachment to happen. The Democrats need to own this impeachment and put each one of their members on the record supporting it so their constituents know what what kind of clownery their elected representative are engaged with instead of working on the issues they campaigned upon. CNN produced a commercial for Nancy and called it a “Town Hall” because CNN wants nothing more than to invalidate the vote of 63 million stupid, mouth breathing, smelly, Walmart-shopping racist Trump voters.

Nancy told the CNN audience “This isn’t about politics at all. This is about patriotism. It’s not about partisanship. It’s about honoring our oath of office. This is the first President that has committed all of these things as the constitutional experts said yesterday, nobody has ever even come close, not Richard Nixon even came close to his dishonoring his own oath of office.” Of course, Nancy, that’s why the Democrats have voted three times already to try and impeach the president. That’s why calls to impeach Trump started 19 minutes after he took office. Because of patriotism.

The next step will take place on Monday at 9am in the House Judiciary Committee where they will hear “evidence” from the House Intelligence Committee and the House Judiciary counsels.

Joe Biden has some kind of crack up

Crazy Uncle Joe was strutting his campaign guff in Iowa when he suffered some kind of old mean guy episode. Biden called an attendee at his Metamucil and Ensure milkshake rally a “damn liar” for asking about Biden’s dumpster fire son.

“We all know Trump has been messing around in Ukraine over there, holding their foreign aid,” the man said at the gathering in New Hampton. He continued, “But you on the other hand sent your son over there to get a job and work for a gas company, that he had no experience with gas or nothing, in order to get access to the president, so you’re selling access to the president just like he was.”

Sounds right to me, but Joe responded with “You’re a damn liar, man.”

USA Today, which is a garbage tabloid propaganda rag, wants you to know that:

Trump has claimed, without credible evidence, that Joe Biden used his influence as the former vice president to get a former Ukraine prosecutor fired in order to help his son, who served on the board of a Ukraine energy company. Biden pushed for the prosecutor’s ouster for failing to pursue corruption cases, the consensus among international groups at the time, according to officials.

Without credible evidence? There is LITERALLY a video of Joe Biden bragging about withholding aid unless the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating his son was fired. Full stop. What could be more credible than a video?

“That’s not true,” Biden contended, responding to the man’s accusation. “And no one has ever said that.”

“The hell it ain’t, I’ve seen it on TV,” the voter interjected.

“You’ve seen it on the TV. No, I know you do, and by the way that’s why you—I’m not sedentary, I get up and…” Biden said. “Look, the reason I’m running is because I’ve been around a long time and I know more than most people know, and I can get things done, that’s why I’m running,” Biden said. “And you want to check my shape, fine, let’s do push-ups together here, man, let’s run, let’s do whatever you want to do. Let’s take an IQ test.”
